You know what is confusing?
Knowing WHEN to give your baby their first solid meal! There are so many conflicting bits of advice, but I feel that the confusion really stems from two key reasons as to why we give kids food.
The key takeaway from this video is that we should introduce SMALL AMOUNTS of certain foods between 4-6 months of age to help reduce the risk of allergy (be sure to chat to an allergist if you have strong allergies in your family!), and AROUND 6 MONTHS for the nutritional requirement!!
OTHERWISE – be careful giving foods too early or too late!! (Or too much! Its a great way to bring about a bit of CONSTIPATION! But thats another episode as well!)
